Painted Woodcarving
Painted abstract standing figure with dark blue and brown background colours, stripes and dots in yellows, green, purple, blue. Aboriginal influences in the colours and pataterns, and also from African carving in forms and intent. As with many of the painted carvings, there are two colour themes. It could, in this case, be two forms intertwined, but above all we are invited to explore the forms and colours, and in the round. In private collection.
